Hello everyone! We are proud to present to you issue #3!!!! This issue is very important to us at On Center because it is the first issue with an outside contributer, Cheryl Mann. Cheryl is a dancer turned photographer who is based in Chicago. Her winsome photos are a testament to the grace of the human form. We are thrilled to have her as a contributor and look forward to seeing more of her amazing artwork in the future. ENJOY!

Issue 2 Is Here!!!!

Hello everyone, Sasha and I are proud to present to you issue #2. This issue is about the places in Chicago that inspire us. Locals might recognize some landmarks, and for those who don’t know much about Chicago, we hope you can the see the beauty of its architecture and elegance of its lake side charm.

We thought that the city made for a perfect backdrop for the dancers. Our goal was to capture the texture of the city, with the ease and grace of the human form. Enjoy.

First Shoot for Issue #2

This past weekend Sasha and I got together with some dancers from around Chicago to start shooting for the next issue of On Center. We thought it would be a great idea to take the dancers out of their traditional space, and bring them into the everyday world we live in. So, with the dancers on foot, cameras in hand, and the amazing Chicago architecture as a backdrop, I think we achieved a good balance.  We hope to bring the two things together, the beauty of the city and the art form.

Many thanks to all the dancers who were used this past weekend. Without you the images can’t happen. More info to come about issue #2 as the photo shoots continue.
